Dmitriy Aristov is a California and Washington licensed attorney. He is the founder and managing attorney of Forward Estate Planning, A Law Corporation.
In 2014 Dmitriy was admitted to practice as an attorney by the California State Bar. In 2015 Dmitriy was admitted to practice in United States District Court Central District of California. In 2016 Dmitriy was admitted to practice in United States Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit.
After working for traditional law firms and serving as in-house counsel for companies and start-ups, Dmitriy was inspired to set off on his own in order to provide better, faster, and more modern legal services to the people in the communities around him. The result was the founding of Forward Estate Planning, A Law Corporation.
Dmitriy now practices Estate Planning law which became his passion over the years. Dmitriy has drafted hundreds of estate plans for clients all over California and has been actively providing the communities around him with value and knowledge to these important services. He has also helped people with their Conservatorship and Guardianship petitions throughout California, which are often intertwined with estate planning matters.
During his prior legal career, Dmitriy consulted businesses on formation, planning, financial matters, and in-house matters. Dmitriy has been involved in large scale complex litigation representing his clients' interests in a challenging and litigious environment. Dmitriy managed large intellectual property portfolios for software companies, web developers, medical corporations, artists, and musicians.
Dmitriy attended and graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, in San Francisco CA receiving a J.D. and a department certification in International Law. During his time at GGU, Dmitriy studied abroad in Paris and Tokyo to expand his knowledge of international laws, international intellectual property licensing, international contract drafting, business planning for international transactions, and international business conflict resolution.
Dmitriy attended and graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara where he received his B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in Women, Culture, and Development. During his time at Santa Barbara City College, and throughout his time at UCSB, he actively participated in Model United Nations and was elected and for two years served as Director with the Western Collegiate Model United Nations. in 2004 He was awarded by unanimous vote as Political Science student of the year.
Dmitriy is an avid hockey player, gamer, reader, hiker, camper, snowboarder, surfer, artist, guitar player, and an overall patron of the arts.
